The private terrace offered stunning ocean views, where my travel companion and I enjoyed the soothing sound of waves while lounging in the hammocks. Carlos, the ever-attentive staff member, ensured we had everything we needed-from assistance with cooking our meals to providing local tips, his warmth and hospitality truly stood out. The option to prepare our own meals with a kitchenette was a delightful advantage, allowing us to enjoy fresh local produce while soaking in the beach ambiance. While the accommodations were basic, the charm of sleeping to the rhythm of the sea, combined with the lack of Wi-Fi and electricity limited to the evening hours, made for a perfect escape from the digital world. For those seeking a calm beach retreat with helpful accessibility to a more active environment, Playa Tortuga Cabaña is an excellent choice. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem for both solo travelers and those exploring with friends or family.
